Fathers Day

Yes, I know,  Father’s Day was a couple of days ago but it also happens to be the title a book by Buzz Bissinger that I’m reading right now. It’s a book I have to say has at some times, made me laugh out loud and at others, has brought tears to my eyes.

So when I came across this article I found last year, I thought it fit this theme beautifully. The article is entitled “Legends” by Ali Dyer, who also happens to work at Autism Speaks (at least she did last year). Her older brother Jeff has autism.

Turns out that last Sunday, yes Father’s Day, was the twentieth anniversary of my dad’s death.

Dad, I love you.
