So my sister sent me a link to this article today. The article is entitled “Dad of Kid with Autism Develops App So People with Disorder Can Find, Rate Accommodating Places” by Kimberly Yam over at the Huffington Post.
I must say this is a term I’ve never heard before. It has however, happened to me but as the author states, I couldn’t imagine it happening to me all the time.
The article is entitled “Autism and Face Blindness-Who Are You?” by over at Autism Daily Newscast.
I mentioned in a previous post that a book I recommended about kids with (dis)abilities, was one that my daughter was going to read.
The book is entitled Rain Reign by Ann Martin and when I asked about it, she said she liked it. That’s good enough for me.
Whenever I see the words libraries and autism together, it warms my heart and so when I saw this article, I wasn’t disappointed. The article is entitled “Bridging the Gap: Making Libraries More Accessible for a Diverse Autistic Population” by Lauren Barack over at School Library Journal.
Good things happen at libraries.
