I must admit, tonight went about as well as can be expected. I think I came to a decision on guardianship (or rather power of attorney). It was also nice to find this article over at Disability Scoop entitled “For Transition-Age Students, Mock Store Offers Job Training by Sandra Stokley.
It reminds me of some of things going on over at Walgreens (though I can’t remember the article). I’ll see if I can find it tomorrow and re-post it.
Anyway, it’s always nice to see new programs being created to help these kids and adults with special abilities. It’s even better to see after going over guardianship and some of the awful choices that parents might have to make. It gives me hope!
