Autistic listening

This is an article that I found interesting and one that no doubt applies to my son. The article is entitled “People with Autism Can Hear More than Most-Which Can be a Strength and a Challenge” by Anna Remmington at Medical Xpress.

It no doubt, explains why he can’t focus on what he’s doing sometimes. My question is, does this vary with preferred versus non-preferred tasks?

Sincerely-
