First and foremost, they are our children

So today’s article, entitled “This Dad Made His Own Report Card to Cheer Up Daughter with Autism Upset about Bad Grades” by Melissa Buttigieg over at Yahoo!, reminded me of that yet again.

That despite the fact that my son is now a young adult at age nineteen and actually has his first job interview tomorrow, he will always be that child he was when he was first diagnosed with epilepsy (and later autism) at the age of one.  What a great dad!

Sincerely-
