Okay, something I haven’t mentioned before I’m sure, but I’m a big hockey fan and so when I read this article over on the National Hockey League’s website, I knew I had to post it.
The article is entitled “McAvoy Surprises Special Needs Kids with Hockey Gear” by David Satriano. Both of my son’s and my daughter are hockey fans, so this article was a very nice surprise to fine.
I’m always amazed how much NHL teams and my own St. Louis Blues as well, are involved in their communities. My youngest son and I went to our first game just last week, and while they lost, we still had a great time.
