Cleaning mode

Every so often my oldest will get in a bit of a cleaning mode and yesterday was one of those days. Most of the time though it’s recycling or sometimes, throwing things away. This time it was organizing things with paperclips. What that means exactly, I don’t know. I’m sure that one day I will find out. When that one day is however, god only knows.

An unexpected gift

So while I must admit that the last week or so has felt incredibly rewarding when I started cleaning my bedroom, when my oldest also decided to follow my lead by cleaning his own bedroom, I couldn’t have been more proud of him. In fact, it’s motivated me to keep on going even more. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Just another night

So as I’m sitting here, trying to type, my oldest son coming into my bedroom yet again, he went right to my window blinds to straighten them out. Of course, that’s what he does and honestly, it’s one of the things I love about him. Part of what makes him, him. I don’t think I would change a thing about him.
