I have to say to say, while I was always worried about my oldest getting covid, I never dwelled on it. Once we got past him wearing a mask, I’m not sure we ever really thought it would happen.
That said, now that it has, I’m honestly a bit relieved. Also in part because not only did he get but, I did as well. Now I guess we can move on to the next chapter.

After going through some health issues with my youngest and thankfully seeing him turn the corner, it’s these weekends that make me thankful to be where I’m at. I was so focused on him, even though he was at his mom’s house that I sort of put my job search on pause and that turned out to be a good thing.
Then yesterday, I got a text from my middle child regarding top surgery as he continues on his transgender journey. Guess we’ll have to see what this weekend holds. Right now though, I think I’m just going to see how the today goes.

I have to say, It was a good weekend. I managed to binge watch 3rd Rock from the Sun with my youngest, one of his favorite television shows while also doing a fair amount of just hanging out.
I also have to admit, I managed to apply for one job on Saturday and one on Sunday while doing a little work on my lastest blog, talk librarian as well. So even though I still have quite a way to go, I did take my first couple of steps on my latest journey.
